Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry

The Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry module is based on decades of clinical experience by Ronda L. Nelson, PhD, MH. For those who don’t know Ronda, she is a holistic nutritionist and master herbalist who started Restoration Health, Inc. to help support and restore optimal health to thousands of patients across the country. Ronda is also a frequent keynote speaker and host of continuing education seminars for doctors and other health care professionals.

What is the Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry

The Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry module is part of the Systems Survey Maestro (Windows based) software package that is being used by thousands of practices all over the country. The Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry will analyze any blood panel you give it, even if it has only a few markers.

Entry of a blood panel values is quick and interactive – color coding on screen immediately lets you know which markers are in / out of range. Markers are presented in the order they are located on the blood panel printout, but can also be listed alphabetically. Included is a quick search feature allowing you to find partial marker names (i.e. you can search all markers containing the word “cholesterol”).

A Look at the Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis

The Maestro Functional Blood Chemistry analysis is in-depth, starting with individual Markers that are out of Lab Range (the range published from the lab, which are based on bell curve representing 95% of population). It then looks at "Patterns" which uses a proprietary formula (custom algorithm) looking at multiple Markers, developed over many years of clinical experience by Dr Ronda Nelson, to recommend one or more supplements. Lastly it looks at Markers that are not out of Lab range but are out of Optimal range, which is typically a narrower range than the Lab range.

Supplements are given a priority, which are displayed as a Total Score on the Results screen. The higher the Total Score, the higher the importance. A supplement will only be listed once on the schedule even if it's recommended from multiple sources (Lab Range, Pattern & Optimal Range). Each of these groups are shown as a unique color on the Total Score column.

The best protocol is calculated based on a proprietary formula that decides which of the supplements are selected, to give you the clinician, the best starting point. You always get to see all the supplements that could be recommended along with extensive notes for the clinician on the complete analysis.

Recommends Both Standard Process® and MediHerb® Products

With a click of the mouse you can see recommendations for Standard Process® products or MediHerb® products or both, at any time.

Extensive Reporting

The Patient Report lists the entire blood panel, highlighting the markers that are out of Lab range (and optionally out of Optimal range) with detailed descriptions of each out of range marker (in understandable terms).

The Clinician Report includes everything on the Patient Report plus all of the calculation notes that showed on the results screen and specific marker notes intended only for the Clinician.
